Hinenuitepō - Hoops

Hinenuitepō - the dusk maiden & guardian of the underworld / Rarohenga, Atua Wahine of Death. Her journey is a story of deep transformation from Hinetītama, the first woman, to becoming Hinenuitepo. She reshaped her pain into power. She left behind te ao marama, the world of light, to go to the underworld to care for the spirits and animals of that realm.
